Michael Hawkins joins the business as Group Operations Director from aerospace bolt manufacturer Linread Northbridge where he was UK Operations Director. A chartered engineer, Michael has extensive experience within the polymer industry, having spent five years with the Trelleborg group and five years with Goodyear Tyres, and of Icon Polymer’s target markets, including aerospace, industrial and transport.

 

He will focus on developing the continuous improvement culture across production at Icon Polymer, including quality, customer service, lead time reduction and the general structure. Michael, who has a degree in mechanical engineering, will be based at the group’s Retford headquarters.
