Icon Polymer’s ability to produce specialist seals for the aerospace industry in just a few weeks has earned it praise from customers.

The company has been able to cut its lead times significantly thanks to a new, dedicated production facility and team of engineers, technicians and assembly operators who manufacture its full range of engineered aero-dynamic and fireproof silicone seals. These were developed as a complementary product range to the high temperature and pressure ducting it already supplies for many of the world’s military aircraft.

Icon can, and has, produced seals, in just five weeks, including cutting new tools. Icon’s Director of Sales John Greaves said: “We have received a great response from our customers who have been impressed by our service, short lead time and desire to earn their business for the long term.”
